Shea Butter comes from the Karite tree (Women's Gold), which grows only in the savannah regions of Africa. Shea Butter's emollient properties have been proven through centuries of use in Africa.

It is traditionally used to nourish the skin, to keep it supple and young. It is also used to treat a variety of skin conditions such as eczema, irritations, extreme dryness, stretchmark and wrinkle prevention, burns, cuts and small skin wounds, after-sun care, insect bites, in marriage ceremonies, and many more.

Unrefined Shea Butter contains an abundance of healing ingredients, including vitamins, minerals, proteins, and a unique fatty acid profile. It is a superior active moisturiser.     I have been looking for a pure and natural alternative to my daughter’s body creams, which she needs because she has eczema prone skin, thinner lotions are no good and she uses a lot each time. This is thick and a little goes a long way, it took her a while to get used to such a thick texture but her skin looks nourished and healthy.

    I bought this product to help a tattoo heal and have not been disappointed. It's absorbed quickly and leaves lovely soft, smooth skin. No irritation or horrible smell. Excellent value for money.

    Keep it handy for all your dry skin problems- I use it for chapped lips and it works better than any lip treatment I have ever tried. I will be reordering although I have such a big pot it will last forever!

    This product left my skin feeling really soft and smooth as usually I have dry skin, especially in the winter months. Initially it is quite hard but once the butter is warmed it is easily absorbed and feels lovely, can be used all over the body and made me feel pampered and happy.

    I love this! Is a very big tub, the smeel is very delicate and a little bit goes a long way. My skin feels soft and hydrated for hours! I'll use this to make my own body butter too.

    The smell is nothing like commercial shea butter lotions/ butter which just goes to show the amount of artificial nonsense that goes into them. This is really lovely, melts into the skin leaving it extremely soft. Very good quality shea butter. I apply it into my face and all over the body.
